There are moments when unexpectedly I recall,
The wind in my hair,
The cry of seagulls,
The sound of breakers on the seashore,
And the full moon shining on the sea.
Moments like that are treasured memories,
Their enchantment never diminishes
For they are the charms of the One
Who made them, who gave them sound,
sight, touch, movement and harmony.
The dog and the voice
Another scene comes to mind,
A gramophone record, and the picture of a dog
Listening to his Master’s voice.
The Master was in the sound,
And the dog knew he had his Master found.
