CONSIDER THE LILIES
The lilies of the field, are they not beautiful?
More beautiful than anything man made?
Consider the lilies, not even Solomon in all his
Glory is arrayed like a single one of them.
They are exquisitely beautiful, formed of loving
Hands that shaped their shining petals,
Scented with the dew of sunrise
And the soft light of evening shadows;
They are dressed in saffron red and
yellow hues; in some, vermilion red and
pink, and about this think:
When God created the lily he put
healing in its root, its leaves and petals;
To keep the heart pace even, to be
Made into ointment to heal burns
And scar tissue, sooth irritations
And soften hard tissues and heal inflammations.
He put his love into the lily and he is willing to put Love into our hearts and make us beautiful.
